Recently I met Mr.Ali at the user training class and from his knowledge of SAP, I knew he had a good grasp of both FI & CO. After going live we had to change the valuation of class of many material numbers as there was a business decision to move some products to another division. My initial inquiry lead me to believe this was not possible unless we removed available stock one by one with lot ID and after changing the valuation class put them back one at a time.

However, Ali's consulting company, Danish Inc., took up the challenge and compiled a program which did the job en masse. We were able to complete the valuation class change for 7,500 items in less than four hours. A task originally thought of as time consuming was achieved with minimum time & effort.
